This waterproof, full-length cape with zip closure, hood and sleeves is great at keeping you dry in rainy weather. The elasticated base provides a closer weatherproof fit, while the thick, padded lining keeps the user warm and snug against the conditions.

The knitted cuffs on the sleeves give the user additional comfort, retaining heat at the same time as preventing draughts. Vents at the rear of the mac allow use of the wheelchair’s pushing handles and a small pouch at the front provides handy storage.

The lap belt is available for use with wheelchairs to provide additional support and stability and to keep the user’s hips and pelvis towards the back of the chair. Must not be used in vehicles travelling in excess of 8mph.

The belt is easily fitted to the backrest of the wheelchair and adjusts easily in length to suit different user sizes. It fastens around the waist with a double adjustable snap lock fastener, which is easily released in an emergency.
